Geoff Sauer is an associate professor in the Rhetoric and Professional Communication area in the English Department at Iowa State University.

Geoff directed the EServer, a nonprofit online publishing venture in the arts and humanities (one of the most popular digital humanities sites in the world), from 1990 until 2018. It had 227 editors, organized into fifty collections to publish over 35,000 works free of charge to over two million readers per month. In addition, he's active in numerous scholarly societies.
